MeduSoil Ltd is a specialized subcontracting business and spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) incorporated in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland in 2020. The company produces and commercializes a soil stabilization agent which produces mineral calcite in the subsurface. Currently, MeduSoil is involved in custom infrastructure repair works, in addition to new construction projects. The result of MeduSoil’s applications is a strong, rock-like material produced out of typical soil to serve as solid foundation. The breakthrough technology stimulates an organic reaction which already takes place in natural environments. The use of our bio-reinforcement agents typically reduces machine and labor costs by 20 to 30 per cent and increases soil strength by 20 to 40 per cent.
